In September 2025, our directors attended the Apsara Conference in Hangzhou, hosted by Alibaba Cloud. The three-day event gathered industry leaders, engineers, and partners to discuss this year’s theme, Human-Machine Synergy. The visit reflects Callnet’s ongoing effort to stay close to global innovation in AI, cloud computing, and infrastructure modernization. Experiencing this event firsthand offered valuable insights into how technology is evolving and how it can empower enterprise operations in the years ahead.
About the Apsara Conference

The Apsara Conference is Alibaba Cloud’s annual global technology summit. It brings together thousands of participants across the world to share ideas, explore new technologies, and showcase working solutions that shape digital transformation.
This year’s event took place at Yunqi Town in Hangzhou, Alibaba’s well-known technology hub. The conference featured more than 110 sessions, over 500 exhibitors, and an exhibition space of around 40,000 square metres.
Across the venue, participants could explore themed pavilions that demonstrated real use cases in AI, cloud computing, data analytics, and edge technology.
Apsara has grown into one of Asia’s most influential technology conferences. For Callnet Solution, it was a chance to learn directly from Alibaba’s global partners and technology experts while observing how advanced AI tools are being developed for enterprise applications.

Another major feature was the AI Super Exchange, a platform designed to help developers and businesses bridge technology with real-world applications. It allows companies to test, showcase, and commercialize AI projects faster.
Alibaba Cloud also revealed new infrastructure upgrades. These include the HPN 8.0 high-speed network with 800 Gbps bandwidth, a new Vector Bucket system for managing structured and unstructured data, and performance improvements across compute and database layers.
The company also announced the expansion of its global data center network, adding new locations in Brazil, France, and the Netherlands, with upcoming plans in Malaysia and other regions.
These developments reflect Alibaba Cloud’s focus on building a scalable, secure, and high-performance environment for global enterprises.
Our Experience at the Event

Being on the ground at Hangzhou’s Yunqi Town was an inspiring experience. The conference venue was filled with interactive displays, live product demos, and technology showcases from hundreds of exhibitors.
From AI-powered analytics to cloud-based automation platforms, every corner of the expo reflected how far enterprise technology has advanced.
Our team also had the chance to cycle around Alibaba’s campus, capturing the atmosphere and culture that drive one of Asia’s most innovative technology companies. The tour offered a glimpse into how Alibaba integrates sustainability, collaboration, and technology in one ecosystem.
Throughout the visit, we spoke with representatives from different industries and partners who shared practical use cases for AI in logistics, manufacturing, and cybersecurity. Seeing these solutions in action gave us new ideas for how Malaysian enterprises can benefit from similar innovations.
Reflections and Takeaways
The Apsara Conference highlighted an important message: the future of IT lies in collaboration between humans and intelligent systems.
This aligns with how we at Callnet Solution see technology — as a way to augment human capability, not replace it.
Our director shared this reflection after returning from Hangzhou:

Walking through Apsara reminded me that innovation happens when people and machines work together. The ideas shared here show that AI is not about automation alone but about improving the way we think, plan, and serve.
